Curahee Cleanup Project
The Curahee Cleanup Project is a volunteer effort organized by Sam Taylor, of Toccoa, GA, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to clean graffiti off of rocks and pick up trash atop Curahee Mountain. The area, which is popular for rock climbing and hiking, faces maintenance challenges as it is not managed as a recreation site, which has motivated Taylor to bring awareness to the issue for nearly a decade.
